Mónica + Philip
There are so many weddings to my heart but just a few in my heart. They know who they are. They know thw months of work. The setbacks. The laughs. The nerves. The endless emails and skypes. The moment of truth when all we planned together comes true.
All Amor Pra Sempre couples have something in common. They all taught me a lot. They are patient (most of the time), they have lives, they have expectations, they even have kids! Just like Mónica and Philip that are living in Switzerland and decided to get married in Monica’s birth country.
They chose Pedras Salgadas Spa and Nature Resort to gather their family and friends for the big day. What a great place to get married. A magnificent room was the perfect match for the grooms that wanted something elegant but simple.
It was a great day. An august summer day. The sun came out so bright. Everyone was going around. Going all over i guess. There was so much to do. From 9 am ’till 4am! Yes, we wedding planners don’t stop until everyone goes to rest.
So much is in stake in a wedding day. So many things to do. So many expectations to fulfilled. We’re always up and down making sure everything goes as planned. But…What’s inside the minds of the grooms? What are they thinking? What are they anxious for? What do every single moment mean to them?
But, even better, what is in their eyes, in their hands, in their hearts, after everyone is gone and they are left alone?
So many things i can imagine. So many emotions.
Thank you Mónica and Philip for your day. For your time. For your sharing. For your trust. Hope to see you soon! Be happy! Be brave! Be a family! Above all be true to yourself!
