Sweets, I love you so, so, so, so, SO, so much. You are the best partner I could ever ask for. You’re smart, loving, funny, thoughtful and SO patient with me. I am so proud and excited to get to call you my husband. I knew you were it for me early on – so I did what I always do when I really want something; I kept kinda just being there. I’d show up in LA “for work” and call you, text you, and you didn’t seem to mind, so I kept just being there. And now, five years into it and for the rest of time, I promise that I’ll always be here, to laugh and snuggle and learn, and talk about everything together. Thank you for finding the daily loss of my phone, keys and/or glasses “funny”, for making me eat my vegetables, and for calling me out when I pretend I know about something, but really have no idea what I’m talking about. Thank you for telling every single waiter about my shellfish allergy! Twice, three times & sometimes even going into the kitchen to tell the kitchen staff about it. And most of all, thank you for putting up with my horrible taste in television… I vow to only watch Bravo when you’re away on tour.

The day that we met will never leave my memory. I didn’t know yet, but it was your birthday. We were all dressed up for Halloween.
